Pickle has no experience fighting against weapons like swords, he assumed that it felt like dinosaur fangs and claws but he still underestimated the extent of power just like how he lost to Baki in a sense of being that he needed more than raw power, he learned martial arts being something he didn't know of until driven into a corner.
