If you think about it, the dragon may have been pure lean muscle. the lack of fat gave it lack of flavor. it doesn't help that its a carnivoure so its gonna taste very gamey.

Hey KS, a typo on the opening page: "MARCENARY"

Wasn't that mentioned in an early chapter, that the MC is a mercenary in a magic world, and the subtitle every time it's mentioned is Magic Mercenary = Marcenary?

There are some authors that speculate that rapidly regenerated flesh looses some of it's magical qualities. So freshly regenerated parts would loose some of it's flavor in addition to strength and durability. No clue if that is what's happening here, but that would be my assumption.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking and was gonna reply to some of these people. Rapidly regenerated meat, like microwaved stuff, loses something in exchange for the convenience.

His reactions reminds me of when I tried croc and deer meat. Both times, I had people around me telling the meat was awesome and quite unique. And both times I was like, "Well, it's not inedible." Both times I pissed people off with my reaction.
