At least the mage had a consistent reasoning from previous chapters to here, and she was being fully sincere AND honest in her apology (even mentioning the power trip part); the thief feels like it kinda goes along what she established as her worries, but is too cheap in how they decided to go about it since she hadn't mentioned she felt responsible for Shin getting hurt, let alone feeling there was anything she could have done about it or wanting to change that.

If they’re all adults and they straight up agree with cool heads on a quid-pro-quo of sexual favours in exchange for him joining the party that’s fine, not ideal, but fine.
