Am I the only who sympathise with tsuchiya even if just a tiny bit. He is a grade a asshole, but he definitely has a lot of mental baggage and probably has been surrounded by "wrong" people up to now. Might be the first time some people are nice to him/appreciate him. What he needs the most is psychotherapy

if it had been handled differently, pushing someone down the stair is attempted manslaughter at least. And trying to blackmail someone with vital healthcare which might lead to death too. It just missed the mark entierly in trying to make him sympathetic
