It kinda felt like the storylines before was more exciting, realistic and just overall more enjoyable to read. This one felt very lackluster and uninteresting. I appreciate nothing slice of life manga but that wasn't why I liked barakamon

Well it properly ended already years ago and this was just an extra to promote the TV series, with a limited number of chapters, you can only do so much to fit a storyline you're looking for.

Ooh i see...I might be the only one who feel like the touch of Yoshino-sensei in Barakamon doesn't change even after 5 years then lol. I re-read the entire series every year so myb that's why i don't feel any difference, except for the art change that is
