The president shouldn't even want Menka so I doubt that is really happening. Given that she is a psychotic manipulative cheater, and the president seems intelligent, I can't imagine he wants her as his wife, but maybe to put her in a position where she actually recognizes she was wrong and can go back to the MC.

I think the president wants to show Menka the results of her longing for happiness, like happines is not given but adquired, where he'll make her seat up front seeing Wakou and his Harem being the happiest making her desire some of that happiness and realize how much of a fool she was for letting that happiness leave her.

Serious Q because I forget: Has there ever been anything to suggest that Menka even cares about him specifically, that can't be explained by either her desire to dominate people or her hatred for her sister?

I mean, this is a harem and I've read a story before, so obviously there's going to be more to her feelings and That One Time They Had Sex than we're shown, but I mean "in the text."
