Yoko started as a Maske Tumor, was surgically removed... maybe she was genetically improved in order to be compatible with a mechanical body?

I doubt that Yoko actually is a clone of Kagura. Leaving aside the fact that I think identifying someone by their gastric microbiome is kinda BS, it was implicitly stated that the facetumors do not develop mental faculties beyond an infantile state.

In reality, I suspect that Yoko was a look-alike - someone that can make appearances for Lady Kagura, but without having any of Kagura's genetics which would tie her to the throne. Even more so, I would not be surprised if Yoko was a clone of a look-alike so that she could be raised to behave exactly as Kagura does.
