I remember searching chapter after chapter to see what happened to this guy, only to realize he retired off-screen. Now there are pages where we get to see his conclusion. Least the "strike zone" comment to Akira makes more sense.

Guess it'll be a long time (at least for us) before it's revealed what exactly happens to people who retire. After all, there's still that vague implication that all of the participants have died before the game takes place.

This translator seems to consistently skip chapters when picking up translations... if there's a reason for it i'd really like to know, he skipped like 20 chapters of fragrant flower blooms and then another 10 with his next upload. I really wanna read that manga all the way through.
