So why not the knuckleball and why is it uncommon, and why wasn't it on the list of recommended pitches?
Knuckleballs are wild, almost uncontrollable and move unpredictably, including randomly hitting the batter for a free walk. For most talented pitchers, why learn uncontrollable knuckleballs when normal pitches do trick?
