I was confused at first about Non-chan and had to re-read this chapter twice to understand everything, but I love how this series gives these brief glimpses into everyone's history that makes them so relatable and sympathetic. Damn it, I love these guys and I want a bidet, too.

Huh, Nagano and Abiru are childhood friends?

it's very early on way back in Chapter 2, but in the scene where Nagano and Nishiki are introducing themselves as mentors to the 1st years Kano asks Abiru about knowing Nagano from middle school. It's 3 panels but i guess it lays the groundwork for them knowing each other from a young age along with Non-chan, since despite their looks Nagano is only a year older than Abiru lol...

based on the conversation between Nagano and Abiru I'm wondering if their childhood friend is suffering from a neurological disease or some other ailment that makes small tasks we take for granted like the ones mentioned difficult.
