I was really interested to see where this would go. It seems like the author, having experience in the field, has a real opinion on the matter. I was hoping they wouldn't hide under the rock that is "oh the modern world is changing and we can't hit anyone any more boo hoo", so I'm glad these guys are apparently going to hash it out even after mention of the incident. I played youth sports as a kid, and there's definitely an uncomfortable conversation to be had about how semi-abuse can be a pathway towards professional achievement.
