I really liked this series at the start but I think around the lengthy Ogun arc was when it started to slow down too heavily. It lost all sort of energy and pacing it built up even moreso in the goofy ass youtuber arc lmao but the finale in particular stings since the series had built so much up that was waiting to be resolved in a higher stakes fashion. The various mafia intrigues, the sibling fights, Jyungo's past and resolving Bj's arc appropriately. So many fights I was looking forward too that never properly happened and as for the ending while I'm glad everyone is happy, it just leaves me a bit disappointed considering the absolutely stellar start.
What was once a lovely tale about discovering the meaning of freedom by finding your own group to jogo with unfortunately rushed to a lackluster finale from what feels like the author falling out of live with the series, but in the end I am filled with a deep respect for capoeira.
