Thank god she stood no chance after all that build up for him. Beautiful art this chapter, but thats the norm.

does anyone have a theory or something on why bj calls obe “nobunari” in 64 but here he is “satoshi”??? (its in the raws too btw). like if nobunari is a fake name why would he only use a fake first name? a retcon?

EDIT: i just checked tonari no young jump and they fixed it at some point and its nobunari again. so “satoshi” is a mistake. (maybe i mis-remembered but i swear it was still satoshi when it was first uploaded to the site, when did they change it?!?!)

Rei changing her mind feels a little bit clunky. She should've known that BJ was contradicting himself last chapter but she only asked for clarification now. Maybe I read it wrong idk.

Icchi loses? Are we entering a training arc? Dope

So Obe just need someone to scratch Ogun as proof that he is not invincible. Bald guy is calculating.

Pg 14. Looks like Mizuno boosted Ogun. That's how he was able to clear the height. Still pretty monstrous.

Maybe it's been said, but "Ogun" is also the name of an African god of war. It's quite befitting it seems...

Oh thanks for bringing that up! Idk if you already knew this, but that is not a coincidence! Sensei uses Candomblé stories/deities as inspiration for character names. https://twitter.com/oshitokosa/status/1290052952627937280
