The glossary is a great addition to those not initiated in football.
Scholes wasn't a volante though, he was more a playmaker than a typical volante. His teammate Veron was a natural volante.

Great work, the glossary is great but is kinda mistaken.
Volante is the position in midfield with the task of taking the ball from any teammates and move in to the front. They can play in a holding position (usually when they do, they're called "regista" like Pirlo or Xabi Alonso) but they can also play more offensive, for example Gerrard can be considered a volante but he didn't play in a holding position.

Regarding the discrepancy with the meaning of volante, we noticed that too. I agree that regista is more suited for the description. But its quite unclear what the exact Japanese interpretation of volante is. They have way too many variations of the term. Our translator, gin, wrote more about it in the discord.
