@kazamakj It won't lol. As seen in the summer camp arc, Sakuraba doesn't give a shit about anything but playing. He may have done enough to get in the team by relying in his talent, but stamina wise he is probably shit. If he can actually maintain his pace for 90 minutes with his out of field habits, he is beyond godlike.

So Yuuto is a likely counter to Pochi. Sakuraba will get shut down. Will Ryuu rise to the occasion or crumble under pressure? Will Sakuraba become a 1% team player? Gonna be great to watch, honestly Ryuu seems to have gotten overly comfortable with this level. Considering his ambitions he needs a wakeup call that what he wants requires a much greater level. One day he will become more like he was pre-injury. What a day it will be for us then.

I want sakuraba to broaden his skills, also it's so boring watching a guy dribbling past 5 guys all the time, I know the guy has amazing technique and they want to show that but come on, that's why captain tsubasa sucks

Sakuraba has insane ball mastery, but his other abilities aren't anything to cry home about (barring his spatial awareness and possibly his vision).
He's pretty one-dimensional as an overall footballer, but he's just so damn good at what he does (at the level he's currently playing at), that it doesn't matter.

Sakuraba is gonna need to add more strings to his bow or he'll get stuck when he rises through the levels... but for now... better give him some respect 😈
