And now let's find out how close they are to professionals or semi professional players.

HOLY SH........... Don't get too excited guys, i feel like, something is going to happen to Ryu hahaha.
Jokes asides, i don't think either of them are going to be recruited, i could see maybe lennon and they'll have to do the rest of the championships without him, and maybe that young guy that's in their club (that runs fast) will take his place.

I don't know if we're yet going to switch to Pro football. That's why i have my doubts about Ryu going pro at the moment. Though i could be wrong.

Let’s go! I hope everyone succeeds, but especially Lenon. Homie has been the backbone for Busou, so it would be nice for him to see his efforts pay off. Plus, who wouldn’t want to see a future matchup of Ryuu vs Lenon, or Sakuraba vs Lenon? (Calling out Lenon since this is his last year, compared to Ryuu and Sakuraba who are still in their second year)

THanks guys! Yuki was so happy for Ryu...poor girl : ( (I am not spoiling anything, I am sad for Yuki in general)

Once again, SakuRyu, the best couple! I am sorry but two things ar enot clear to me:

1/ I don't get when Aiko says : "it wasn't my place" when Ryu asks here if she already knew. That sounds like a weird answer (or maybe I don't get it as I am not a native speaker). Or does she mean something like "it wasn't my role to tell you that?"

2/ These are professional teams or universities affiliated to pro team?

Yeah your interpretation is correct lol. Aiko is basically saying that it wasn’t her right or role
to do so (but in a respectful way). It shouldn’t be put in a negative way, but more like “this should be announced by someone else”, and that person was the other coach.
Btw, where are you from because your English isn’t that bad

If Tatsuhiko is already basically the ace of the best pro team, they should all be able to hold their own at the tryouts

Tatsuhiko is way too good. Just joined his first pro team and already performing at that level? Absurd. Busou's defence holding their ground against such an absurd player doesn't make sense, if he is really that good Busou should have conceded many more goals.

I guess it is Lenon's time, Sakuraba, maybe a bit later? Feel like his off the ball and stamina still wasn't there. Ryuu? After that last big joke credit pages, I don't know what to expect from here...

I'm so happy! These three all deserve it! Though I have a feeling it won't go that smoothly. I wouldn't be surprised if both Ryuu and Sakuraba get dropped on the first day of practice... Thank you for the chapter!

@ThatGuy Busou was able to hold their ground against The Reds, not Tatsuhiko. If anything, the one who kept him at bay was Nabeken, and he still suffered two goals while doing it.

BTW I just can't help it, Yuki REALLY is the best girl roflmao. Still think people are too fixated on romance tho.

Great job guys!

So... which one is it gonna be this time?

1. Some asshole will make him unable to play his best
2. He'll mega choke
3. The players there will be so much better than him, so he won't stand out. He'll come back to Busou and play better because he discovered something

also. Sakuraba isn't ready yet, it won't be a surprise to anyone when he underperforms. He only plays well because the entire team is focused on enabling him. He's trying to surpass this, but not quite there.

I think this time sakuraba has the best chance. Technically he's already gifted, he's overcoming his weaknesses, and his off the ball play is getting better. All he needs to do is do his thing unless the squad demands him to join defense.

Ryuu needs a certain playstyle to cope and influence the game. That's always been his biggest obstacle, and pro club players' egos are nothing to scoff at. After busou, and Japan youth, this may be the toughest one yet. He might choke but the scout might have his back due to his insane potential. Could be interesting if scout san resembled ryuu in the past but didnt make it big.

Lenon.. Idk, he's great and a role model. But his confidence flag is raising every now and then. I hope he gets something out of this.
