Time for my usual Chapter review. Huge shoutout to Soundfox, 5pike, Wulfy, Jujstme our typesetter and cleaners/redrawers.
The Title, The Rose Withered by Overnutrition!!, is a clear summary of the chapter, and will review this later. But it shows how the middle way is needed. Too much or too little would cause it to fail to grow.
Typical Paru Biorogy thing to make scales spike up, not a RL. But it is similar to Monster Hunter Rage mode. I do wish this scene also happened in ch 134/135 when Gosha was angry at Yahya for Legoshi.
Yay, we finally have a name for grandma, Toki. Google States Toki means time of Opportunity, although Paru says it for Toxin...
Pg 07 will be called back later, but noticed how the pictures are hidden behind the bottles
Pg 10 when Gosha states the amount of love, that is a call back to previous chapter of Melon Dad, who also said Love was too much.
Page 17 is quite a plot twist and has to show things from multiple different perspectives.
From Toki’s perspective, she wanted to feel love regardless of risk [which is settled with Gosha in first place despite risk]. She wanted a moment without the Komodo Dragon worry, as the constant scrubbing made her feel like a lack of love. Compare pg 16 with pg 07, see how with the constant worry, the family aspect [photos] was hidden]. When she ignored the issue by preventing Gosha from doing things, she could have a genuine moment of love. For Toki, this is enough to say she wins, this is her objective in life. When she says this is her victor, this is the same as Leano as ch 134 as objective in life, no win/lose of ch 176. Remember Toki is also introduced as an Airhead
This follows with the title, because Gosha is very protective of his venom that Toki felt sufficiated. Gosha’s worries are not wrong, but you can see Toki’s perspective that she isn’t getting what she wants. A flower with too much water also rots.
From Realistic perspective, this doesn’t work at all as Gosha is set to suffer forever without her & Leano grows up without a mother, forcing her to face the Hybrid issues by herself. Leano at least waiting till it seemed like Legoshi if fine, where toki That single moment, while Gosha is not at fault, makes Gosha worry even more, and is counter productive.
All the wolves of this Bloodline seem to have a habit of having a big ego that they care about what they might want instead of what others really want. Toki gives Gosha a single moment without worry about Venom, but unintentionally makes Gosha suffer more. Leano thought what she was fine, but made Legoshi suffer. Legoshi was fine not seeing Haru as long as Haru is happy, but that made Haru suffer. Well at least Legoshi is breaking this chain by starting ot think about himself and what he wants per ch 187.
Gosha is supposed to be the opposite of Melon’s Dad. For someone who abandon everything [lack of nutrition] vs someone who gave too much nutrition.
Overall this chapter will go from bitter sweet, to hate towards Toki. You have to understand things from Toki, as said trait also defines Legoshi. At same time, you don’t have to love the trait, just understand. Characters have flaws and never perfect.
I would rate this chapter as 7/10, round down to ⅗. Wished Toki cared more beyond herself.

...I think I wouldn't find this AS contrived if Toki was slowly dying due to exposure to the Venom, then she went out with a kiss to end on her terms.
As is, she made her daughter lose her mother and traumatized her husband. Fuck that bitch, she screwed up her family so bad, even her grandson is dealing with the after effects.
