Sorry for the necropost, but if any of that was genuinely true, we'd have no problem eating grass. Even in the case in which we're more adaptable to eating vegetables, phrasing it as "bubble bursting" is just conspiracy-talk and hogwash.
Even if that doc you mentioned is interesting, you pretty much ruined it right there.

@Solipsist @SotiCoto the belief that humans need to consume meat and animal-products is in fact 'hogwash'. scientific evidence points to humans being the healthiest and best-nutritioned if following a diverse plant-based diet. no matter how i phrase it, truth is truth. most meat-eaters do not process inconvenient information objectively and act biased towards what they've been told their whole lives. this negligence is in fact a bubble that needs to be burst.
evaluating all information fairly and making decisions after coming to a personal conclusion is the cornerstone of critical thinking. so please don't let your decision-making be compromised by emotions and feeling defensive.

Nobody said we *need* to eat meat.
Saying that humans have a "herbivore digestive system" is completely wrong, as we cannot extract/synthesize proteins from plant matter like cattle does, for an instance.
I do think it's totally possible to flourish on a vegan diet, it's just that it's generally harder, as you need to be more well informed to properly diversify your diet. W/e you're writing right now is much more defensive than anything anyone here wrote back to you...

@Solipsist well... i laid out my points as objectively as i could (i'm human therefore i am biased). watch the documentary, unless we have common ground of information (no matter how you interpret it for yourself), we are not able to have a discussion.
fyi, we're closer to apes, so your comparison to cattle is insufficient in logic.

Its not cannibalism for one. Two, irl deer eat meat. I have seen deer eat ducks and pigeons.
