This guy is gross. I get it, things are ugly in war, but for him to find OTHERS to be disgusting at the end of the chapter when he's just as disgusting himself, it blows my mind.
You're the one who wanted to murder her. You're the one who enslaved her, with the thought of 'we can always kill her later' as if her life is so cheap.
Trying to take the moral high-ground, but your heart is just as black and void isn't it.
