@Doomer Abusive and possessive (often also rapist) male leads are the most common male lead template in shoujo/josei, especially in manhua, to the point where I've coined the term "rapemance" (because the protagonist often falls in love with her rapist(s)/male lead) to describe them.

@TrapCard113 sure, i've read a couple of manga/manhua/manwa like this but this is by far the worst. i've never seen the male lead go so far as to murder FMC's family and enslave her, i wonder if the author is just trying to push this shitty trope as far as possible to point it out or if he's just insane and thinks this is somehow romantic.

@Kousora Have you tried reading "Chunqing Yatou Huolala"? It's my go-to whenever I recommend a rapemance to people. Both male leads are complete and utter scum, with zero positive traits beyond being hot, muscular and filthy rich.
