(Like some readers, I've kinda just glossed over the premise that she's a slave. I can tell that the writer just used it as a means to an end. How else could Chloe become a servant of sorts to the ML? Obv taking into consideration all else that's part of the story, I mean. Cause yeah, there are other ways. I don't expect deep views from Beatrice... I'm here for the romance at this point.)
