I was originally bored but now I’m just tired one of the few boring ones done by scam group at least lady baby had some level of a twist, and I can’t stop reading due to sunk cost fallacy I hope it either ends or it just gets too stupid

@goronyanpai I think we all can agree that nobody is here for the plot. Nothing is actually happening, the "romance" is more on the father-daughter side than anything else, and the characters are extremely generic although beautiful and sparkly. The art is great and it has those little inklings of shoujo-y moments, but otherwise, I wouldn't be interested.

@theilikepie That was a huge obstacle to begin with that I was curious to see how the manga would get over later on. It's interesting nonetheless to see how they would get over it.

[ol][/ol]Firstly, they made sure that the protagonist was subjected to abuse before, making her okay with any such treatment in the future. Then they made the guy a sexist jerk so he doesn't appreciate normal women and the "she's not like other girls" trope blah blah blah. But then of course that was another problem because who likes sexist jerks? And then THAT had to be rectified with the troubled past trope.

Secondly, they forced the protagonist and the arch duke together under contrived settings after a little breather. Then it all came together. However, someone the author still felt like there was a problem yet so they made the archduke have a father-daughter relationship with the MC. They even dressed her up like a boy to validate there relationship further because she would have no sex appeal.

I wouldn't compare this to real life. It's a story. The only other story like this that I like is "Why Are You Doing This Duke?", but I only could handle it because the plot was so ridiculous and fantastical I could never relate it to real life. I also think of "Who Made Me a Princess", where the protagonist, Athy, was isekai'd into a world with a murderer for a father. This almost didn't work conceptual-wise, but by cleverly making Athy unaware of Claude's motives to begin with, when his motives changed, Athy thought was all the same and loved her father either way. THAT was clever writing. This manhwa lacks that. The premise that was intended to captivate everyone was its downfall so far. Although I haven't read the rest, I think it's interesting to see a mediocre story teller try to fix the problems they've created.

I really love the story and personally I think the plot isn't too bad ! okay it isn't very real but anyway, it’s a STORY. According to me, the author did a good job 🙃 ! Can't wait to see more !

Like wth is wrong with the people in this story, everyone is horrible! The MC's family, the ML, the maids, the soldiers, etc.
Never have I wished for a meteor to fall down and destroy the entire cast of a manga/novel. 🤦🏻‍♀️ As beautiful as the art is, that's how putrid and without redemption these characters are. It's so frustrating, aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!

@SaphireE90 well i dont think its weird that the father kill his daughter.. If you learn history, in the old days men usually killed their daughters because daughters were deemed useless as they cannot inherit the family name and are merely looked as a baby maker thats why its normal for war slaves to be raped at that time... Plus because people in the old days r stupid as hell... I think the story is good coz it depicts the reality in this world.. No one is truly moral and thats reality... Not everything is all sweet and dandy
