Both of them would tried so hard to snatch the invitation as fast as possible and fight for it while the carriage are getting ready. And anyone that can get to the carriage first with the invitation can go. And the one left behind must do all the piled up work

It would be pretty weird if Charlize invited Irian to her place and told her to take the kid to the grand duke. What exactly would be Irian's role in all of that? She would actually need to possess a gold digger's personality to lie about finding the kid on her own, omitting Carlize's role in all of it. If she didn't omit Charlize actually being the one who rescued the kid, Irian's role would be more or less irrelevant. This is all regardless of what Charlize herself would want. All that being said, of course the grand duke could still fall in love with Irian, even if Irian's role was nothing but to escort the kid from the Lienta mansion to the grand duke's mansion.
