As I read it, there's just one elf, the holy knight "silver hero", who also helped raise the gold hero. What I understood is that, since she is long lived, she has had previous relationships. She stays with them until they die, then moves on. I would expect the hero is an anomaly in that she was involved in raising him before they started dating, but from her perspective it might not make much difference.

I'm wondering if Rogas defied the king's order and changed the exploding item from the sword to the helmet(?) as a form of mercy, to ensure the hero died (more jealous of his relationship than mercy in this case), for efficiency (if defeated in combat the sword is probably a ways away on the ground and detonating a nuke in a mouth guarantees a headshot) or all of the above.


Pages 8-10 are pretty interesting with the knowledge he knew from the very start what the armor was for and that the battle plan was to pull a Goku v Raditz instead of just killing the snake.

Alternatively, what if he was so powerful that it was his own explosion spell that he aimed at the hero's head and the nuke is still active in the armor/sword?

Bastard!! did the same thing, with Dark Schneider raising the Dark Elf Arshes Nei as a child, then she became his lover when she turned into an adult.
