Been a while for me too but aside from it being expensive, I think there's a time limit before its too late to revive.

I do remember this arc taking place in the deepest part of the dungeon which might take them a while to get back to the surface.

Kinda hard to get invested if each chapter is 4-7 pages.

No shame in stopping, dropped plenty of stories when investment in it was low and picked some back up when interest returned.

Apathy towards a story may be the worst feeling, but letting it turn to anger or annoyance is more so especially if one can really avoid it.
