Bear in mind this isn't some top-level funded or produced manga, and not even translated by official translators. So keep it in mind while reading. With that said, the manga is really great, every seemingly absurd thing that happens will always have an explanation in later chapters, and the author has a built-in system to stop power creep from going too high with Greed. I think that if your looking for a gritty fantasy manga, then you just struck gold, or maybe silver, in any case, it will be enjoyable. Happy reading!!!

Like this is barely a fucking literature, i've seen shameless trash that has more writing intelligence than whatever edgy noodle flop this is.

The MC’s motivation definitely gets muddled as the story progresses. Which leads to degradation of the one advantage this story has, self insertion. Like many shounen type stories, readers self insert with the MC to enjoy what’s basically a bog standard character to follow.

Revenge alone isn’t satisfying if the focus leaves the revenge. Once your MC elevates beyond the loser level, there needs to be more to hold the reader. In this case the revenge was low level anyways. Sentient weapons, connected to some vague circle really isn’t hooking me in. And these virginal authors really need to experience sex and relationships. Seriously, the rest of the planet is not composed of 40 year old, virgins locked up at home.

Thats the real problem with these stories. There doesn’t need to be explicit sex, but geez, let the MC kiss the girl. These stories are close to being good but the authors lack basic social skills with the opposite sex. And it’s annoying.
