I'm just surprised Griffith even dared to challenge Guts who has great speed and always cuts up People in heavy armor like butter.
What chances do You have going against a force like that with such thin sword.

I feel like this was the right outcome, Grifith need to learn to let go and Guts to find his own dream, be it a big or small one. The thing that didn't end so well were unresolved feelings of Caska, maybe one day she'll try to find him, but for that she'll have to find the same resolve as Guts.

Is this is the first time we've ever seen Griffith's internal monologue? I just think I'll be a neat detail since it'll imply that he's genuinely distressed and also humanizes his usually stoic character since we finally get to see what he's thinking under that mask
