Is he anti-social kinda in a cool way like a popular loner or a total degenerate and an out cast from society. If it’s the second one I don’t think I’ll read it because I usually hate those and especially when they go through soem type of redemption idk why but I do. The only time I liked it was in that anime my life is a rom com or something where he goes to a club but in that mix was cool and loner by choice and romance was really great

its not really about heros or antiheros, but rather raises some morality questions, there are no bad or good guys, only victims and it sure blends all the possible lines between right and wrong, reminded me of Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment
and definitly one of the brightest (not literally) delinquent character out here for some reason, not the main one

I define antihero as someone who wants something good but will do whatever needed to accomplish this goal. Like light yagami whose goal was to have a great society and while he did get corrupted he still stuck to his original goal even if it meant innocent people would die. Also thx for the suggestions

Anti-hero: a central character in a story, movie, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes.

By your logic Hitler was an anti-hero...
