Thank you, it is much clearer now.
So the biggest mystery seems to be how Alice and the snake are connected. The sigil that kept appearing in the snake's mouth and on the last door in the book looks like a representation of the two of them.

i dont think alice was the princess yet. i think its all connected but in the previous chapter we see the time of entry which was heavily emphasized. she found the book which was enclosed in chains and what not. she entered which is how she became a guest. so somehow she knew about the book and that it was dangerous, but not enough to know it would take her away from reality. OR when she emerged out of divine intervention/human action, she devoured everyone and became a humanoid alice who then found the book again? for what purpose? so her end goal would be to release the snake from the egg which would lead to something we will see later on. but i feel like there's something missing about her and she's not the princess.
