It's good that the misunderstandings were cleared, but I still don't understand why they couldn't have warned her about the whole thing, especially when there where multiple attempts to the princess' life. I get that the whole point of why the princess married the prince in the first place was to not get involved in politics and just read her books, but she should at least be aware of situations that involve her, shouldn't she?

Loving this story. The prince came through lol. It's good to see the misunderstanding get solved in a timely fashion instead of being dragged around till the end. Wonder how their relationship will progress from this point onwards...

Full blown sting operation and Akari and her father fell head first into it. Welcome to the lion's den you two.
I guess they didn't tell our main character because they might have feared she'd somehow hinder the investigation? Or knew she'd be gripped with fear of she knew(how she jumped to conclusion I guess).
She was kept in the dark for her own safety seems to be the conclusion to the whole thing.
Liked how learned their was a defence wall(hidden bodyguards and old fashion spy games) around her the whole time.
Doubt the assassin is still in one piece( don't mean killed, but rather...roughed up a bit) at this moment.

Oh, so they were really trying to kill her, not just make her as a villain.

I wish the author would done this more slowly and make the heroine a little more involved in this little thriller, lol

Called it. Everything was too fast paced and felt like they were going for a bait and switch

I wish Eli was a little more confident and more involved in all of this, it feels like she's just watching everything unfold.
I still love her, but I like protagonists that are a little less insecure and mellow (not that that's a very bad thing).

@nivinator I definitely agree with that..

I do like the fact that she is like super popular and completely unaware of that fact 🤣

Ehhh would it have killed him to explain the situation to her though rather than have her suffer for weeks. Still not satisfied to be honest, I hope he apologises for keeping her in the dark about this

@whynejithough same thoughts! even though they were trying to do all of that for her sake, they should've atleast gave her a heads up or something like "we'll tell it to you soon"
