@Vverg It looks pretty high quality, so I can appreciate not wanting to scan it destructively. Maybe it could be "scanned" with a digital camera with less damage than with an actual scanner. Hard to say with not too much margin on the inner side of the pages. I don't personally mind if it looks a bit wonky, considering the circumstances, but it's a different thing how much you demand from yourself before you are satisfied with your own work.

Not sure how useful this will be, but there’s an iOS app called Scannable that auto-straightens and cleans up to account for page curves/shadows and glare. Lots of scanning apps do. They don’t do redrawing tho
