Chapter 13 explained it a bit. Whatever MC is is subjugating demons like Jelly and forcing them to submit. So Jelly ends up acting like a loyal werewolf servant while Pudding's acting like a cutesy cat. They still have their own agency and they can act on their own volition, but it looks like whenever the MC is around, they end up submitting like that.
Right but that's all stuff MC is completely unaware of. From her perspective Jelly should just be a guy who escaped from slave traders and ended up in her yard. Not someone she bosses around and sorta scoffs at when he doesn't wanna do something.
I'm wondering if we missed a scene where he begged to be her butler or if it's an extension of her treating people like character archetypes. Like Jelly
seems like a "cheeky servant" character to her so she just started treating him like that.
Sorta similar to how she's pretty rude to Gabriel because she thinks of him as an ML.
