And now Tsutomu just wants to break everything regardless of collateral damage.

Anyone else think it's bullshit that the last minute camera footage and escapes by the Agni staff were pulled off? I know the author likes for Birdy to be at an information disadvantage, but this is ridiculous. I'll bet Gomez is intimately familiar with what happened and gives some stupid monologue about it.

You didn't really think Tsutomu would be allowed to happily date someone did you?

@LouWohl As opposed to when he did it anyway by mistake.

@IronClad

Before Tsutomu was a wet blanket who was as needlessly cautions as the plot needed him to be to prevent Birdy from actually trailing suspects. Now he's just a vengeful psychopath who doesn't care about consequences, especially to Birdy, which is what irks me most about this series. In all other versions, Tsutomu and Birdy became sympathetic towards each other and bonded as friends, but here it seems Birdy is the one going out of her way to help him while he just wavers.
"Let's go rescue Chigara! Nevermind, he's probably okay."
"Don't be so reckless Birdy, we can chase them later. WHY DIDN'T YOU CHASE THEM BEFORE?!"
"Sucks that your surrogate mother died. Oh well, time to study."
He doesn't grow as a character, he just has mood things when things affect him personally.

And ironically, this is the part in the story where Nakasugi stops being dead weight.
