Hmmm... I misremembered how annoying I thought Tsutomu was, I still prefer Birdy as the protagonist, but I think i enhanced how annoying Tsutomu could be.
Despite a few things, he actually has been pretty reasonable, he is just a normal kid in the end. In a narrative like this, wanting him to just go full warrior is stupid.
