Ok see, this is something you often see in SciFi work: You dont need to explain everything, you just need to present it in a way that it makes sense to everyone in the world and then the reader will just believe it.

MC is stupidly strong even though hes useless? cool thats fine, we can go with that. You didnt need all the shit in the last 10+ chapters to get to this point.

Unlike a lot of the other "reveals" that were really just Ass Pulls, this one has been reasonably set up in advance since he's always been weirdly good at physical things and his understanding of monsters and has consistently been shown as humble and not making a big deal of his abilities, so him being super OP this whole time is a lot more reasonable. I actually legitimately enjoyed this little batch of chapters as a fun payoff and return of the hero, even if this arc as a whole has been too damn long.

We really didn't need multiple chapters explaining how Mirio was actually strong.

They gave us enough hints throughout the story, including the part of Soil having to constantly fight all the monsters of the kingdom.
