What a way to entice the reader, lmao.
Certainly already an interesting character with a interesting background to explore. :korone:

This manga hooked me in, that's for sure. The protagonist being (maybe) a christian (he does know at least more about Christianity than his two female friends) and the Mother Mary/Motherhood motif also seem very interesting.

I know it's dumb to complain about mistranslations, especially since this one was fairly better than some of Solaris's other works (I cringed hard reading that exorcist one where they consistently translated "pass on" or "rest in peace" as "achieve buddhahood"), but I thought I'd note them anyway. First, Daisuke did not say he wanted to "give Hinako a thrill by stroking her hair". He said he noticed she had something stuck in her hair and thought he'd "be a gentleman" and get it for her. Also, obviously given what's shown in later flashbacks, Hinako didn't say she had an abortion, she had a miscarriage with her first pregnancy. Finally, Daisuke's thoughts on 31 weren't such a collected "then that's why!". He said "What did she just say? Something like preg... and misc..." Like I said, he was far from collected enough to think through to "oh that's why she's like this".
