I stopped reading this a decade ago and randomly remembered it today. So happy to see your comment.

This was like the authors first big works. They were an OG webtoon creator. They started another story. Went on indefinite hiatus in 2018. It was neither completed nor cancelled

They said they are returning to it after Charlotte is done. Which was August. I would probably expect the reboot to be shorter. They've gotten a lot better at writing and their art has improved a lot

Idk how many people will see this, but in the Charlotte/5 disciples afterword she mentions she's returning to it.
Unsure if she's picking up where she left off or if she's completely starting anew.
But the post with the blog update above might give more depth into that.

probably a rewrite. The art in the first few chapter gotta be annoying for a seasoned artist. And just starting again out of the blue gonna make it hard to attract new readers. If they change a few plot points people will not just read ahead the previous version.

I'm fine with it being a complete rewrite as well. I'm just used to manga/manhwa artists having certain series on long haitus' only to pick them up years later (I feel like that's gonna happen with Revolutionary Princess Eve), of course, Black Haze was in the midst of legal tribulations so it wasn't a hiatus willed by the author to begin with lol.
