I mean, that type of story is a bit of a cope, with the "Haha, those losers of the black company will completely fail without me".
On the other hand, the author allowing the side characters to commit a mass quitting is honestly a pretty daring thing in context of Japanese work culture, ngl.

Funnily enough, it's not actually that uncommon in these stories. Mass desertions from a guild, mass desertions from a company, the company further self owning itself by firing the "incompetents" (The other staff, who may or may not have been part of the problem)...

It's precisely because it's such a complete zamaa that it appeals.

IN ANY CASE, absolutely nobody has mentioned that one page. The page which sums up ML and FL's whole relationship. The page which was so glorious, I had to clean tea off my monitor when I saw it!

Re-reading because I can't remember where I left off. He already knows where she is and how to get in touch. He learned this fairly early because he was told where she was hired... you don't need to "find" something that isn't lost and is exactly where it's supposed to be.
