This feels a lot like the receptionist manga/novel except it makes none of its mistakes. The leads in this one are cute and their relationship is heartwarming.

Spoiler: Web novel spoilers

Several chapters depict them slowly self-destructing due to losing their most valuable employee. After losing everything, they concoct a scheme to kidnap Noel and force her to work for them. While trying to enact this scheme, they chance upon Noel fighting at full power and realize everything is over. Noel never sees or hears them.

The town does just fine. Noel doesn't really have much reason to go back there, as her mother moves with her to the capital.

@MrIncognito already gave you the major points, but to build a bit on the self destructing part.

They made a deal with a duke family about selling huge amount of crystal balls because there are so high quality. To nobodies surprise it turns out no one else can create that amount of balls. Especially since Noel has been buffing everyone constantly so they can keep up the pace for long hours of work.

This forces them to buy crystal balls from other people, but these are of worse quality(surprise). During all of this the duke family starts investigating them when they notice the lack of quality etc. Turns out they’re not happy with all the bullshit they’ve been doing when it comes to treating their employees and the crystal balls.
Result: ruined

Edit: Also the story isn’t really about revenge etc, it’s about Noel making a name for herself and Luke trying his best when it comes to her. These three years she worked in the sweat shop is extremely important for her, how she is as a character and her abilities.
