@Cyreader couldn't agree more

Also I find the art similar to Golden Kamuy, is it the same artist or assistant? Anyone care to rectify my ignorance?

8.20 - lol, I won't say this is a bad manga, but it never ceases to amaze me how much any yuri manga is overrated here. That's even more than many over-hyped shonen can has. The Yuri audience is really a very easy audience, isn't it?

@uttanova Doubt that some Korean female yuri mangaka has anything to do with the extremely testosterone male manga.

thank you for the chapter, for a moment there I was wondering if Junko and Emma were in a relationship in the past. Between the kabedon and the reprisal tongue bite these two have toned things down from their introductory brawl in Ch.1 and 2. Good to see their finally warming up to each other.
Though it is somewhat harsh for Kayo to criticize him for trusting her since she was entrapping him throughout their get together at the bar.

Any port in a storm/beggars can't be choosers. (Basically when lacking any decent alternative people cling to the scraps they can.)

@Mangareader Do you think that yuri manga is so small that people will overestimate any work? It always seemed to me that if we have relatively few real yuri anime, then with manga there is no such problem. Anyway, sometimes I find it quite annoying, especially when comparing people's feedback to regular smut and yuri smut.

@Krune I'm both surprised and not surprised to see you here lol.

I believe that a part of the issue is, that there is only so much 'quality' yuri manga, and the ones that are above the norm tend to be short-lived. Pretty much a combination of an addict in need of a fresh hit, and an escalation of commitment.

@SuperOniichan I missed you to, glad to see your branching out into other series again, and I hope you had a happy thanksgiving or equivalent depending on global region your from.
I've been a fan of Sal Jiang's work for a few years now so when she does an ongoing and I like it I will follow from chapter 1 till its conclusion.

@Mangareader And is this also the reason why modern yuri fandom is so obsessed with shipping, goggles and the desire to see things more serious and profound than it are in reality?

Pretty sure that the shipping is a universal problem, can't think of any genre, show or manga that was free from it:
People tend to see what they want to see.

@Mangareader Anyway, modern yuri fandom is more busy trying to "turned into" or declare something as yuri rather than enjoying actual yuri like that. Even if it tends to overestimate it. It reminds me of the situation with the youth metal genres in the 00s.

@Mangareader I think any port in a storm is one aspect of its rating but I think another reason it's rated highly is that if you've found and read this manga it's probably because you were looking for something like this. People who don't want to read this know because of the tags and the description so it probably gets fewer negative reviews because of that.
