Huh.
We have reached the point in this author’s work where it’s just stuff happening as it winds down to anticlimax.
Falling action for a loooong time.

That’s fine but... probably not gonna be a lot of tension.

I think people are misconstruing this a bit. These are two very broken and traumatised kids who don't know what to do with these feelings or how to cope. Her idea of drawing their mother's faces on the bag and saying they will 'kill it' obviously comes off as creepy BECAUSE IT IS. But as a kid coming up with this it's very obvious that theyre both trying to desperately figure out a coping mechanism here or some quick and easy way to get rid of these horrible feelings and memories. Of course though it's not that easy or simple to recover or just deal with trauma.

I don't think she has a truly bad intention here. She just thinks she's found a quick and easy way to deal with the trauma or 'get back' at their mother's for doing the same thing back to them in the form of this bag. By throwing it away or 'killing it'. But theyre not gonna realise until after that it hasn't helped at all. These 2 desperately need decent therapy but neither of their Dad's or the adults around them have been capable enough to do anything remotely helpful for either of them.

Oshimi Shuzo’s art gives every panel an ominous vibe, but I don’t think the girls intentions are evil. I don’t think she’s gonna pull out a knife and go yandere on the faces on the bag. Since they’re at a river, they may fill it with rocks and throw it in, sort of “burying the past”, so they can move on with their lives, hopefully together.
