@Ibri Honestly I don't agree. Despite it being worse (maybe not worse per se but well, uneventful) than other yuri series I'm still gonna finish it. Maybe just for the sake of finishing it, but I can't really drop a series which I invested that much time into... I don't think it's bad. It's not horrible but I'd like to see some development. (Sayaka can't carry the series alone).

It's just my opinion but I like series like Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru much more. At first it might also seems pretty dull but somehow it's much more to my taste. Maybe because of more interesting main couple.

That was painful to read. But not unexpected. Romance writers very rarely consider their characters and story have any potential beyond the mutual declaration of love that evokes a happy end, so they tend to try and delay that event as far as they can.
And even though it's very easy for Nio to make Touko the bad guy here instead of taking responsibility and exploring other ways to continue the story it's not like there is no basis in the story for them to grow apart after the play.
It's just very disappointing and kind of disrespectful to Touko to make it seem like she would give up Yuu just like that.
I hope Touko will find she does return Yuu's feelings, however. And I hope Nio will allow her to take the initiative and talk about this with Yuu as soon as possible, so Touko will not, as happens so much in yuri, be portrayed as just another passive dark-haired love interest.

...what's so interesting about Sayaka, except for maybe playing a part of "born that way" section of the audience surrogacy?

Unless you're projecting something onto her. After all, she got maybe four chapters worth of exposition (that came mostly to presenting her relationship with one of the leads) - if even that - and some shoehorned flashback character "development" in passing (ie, something akin to coming out to herself).

...i may not remember everything, cause i've been following this title for about two years now, but if the above is all there is to her, i would find it very hard to call her "interesting".

@BlueSky I said I would consider it better if not for the final arc, which legitimately sours the entire thing. Without that, it was actually shaping up very well, especially with an entire arc focusing on Harumin. Don't put words in my mouth, now

Honestly, before its AWFUL final arc I even considered Citrus better than Yagakimi if only because it was entertaining
To be honest this series was also entertaining, at the start. It should've been a lot shorter, but it's a popular series and feels very clearly artificially extended beyond its lifespan. Citrus also retreads itself, and much more terribly, but honestly only in the end where Mei's development is completely reset and Yuzu has to save her... AGAIN. Stupid as hell

@mikegnesium She has a fun personality and her development is neat.

...well, okay then. Maybe i'll have to rethink it in three or five years when rereading, because for the moment i really can't recall her being fleshed out to a point where she could've even had a meaningful character development.

I won't argue about personality.

I think some people grossly misunderstand what's happening in this chapter. Touko doesn't say at any point that she doesn't love Yuu anymore − she says that she now has people she can act naturally with, so Yuu is no longer "unique" in that regard. But she's also realizing that Yuu's important to her in a different way (she wouldn't miss her otherwise). Touko has spent the last 34 chapters thinking of Yuu as her only emotional support, now the next step is to reconsider what she actually means to her. Sure, in this chap Touko could have talked… but to say what? "I didn't apologize for the reason you think, but I would have rejected you anyway"?

Same with Yuu, she decided to confess, but without being prepared for rejection, so she reacts the only way she knows: by rationalizing and feigning indifference. It's her defence mechanism.

What happens here may be "cliché", but it makes perfect sense. Both of them had gotten comfortable in their semi-relationship, so netiher of them knows how to deal with this kind of evolution.

I'm perfectly okay with things that are developing. I knew this was going to go the way it's going. Fuck the haters. This is a story about a girl that wants to know what love is. Story as old as time. Done a thousand times before. I still love it. It's perhaps not what I'd like it to be, but it never is as the reader. Strap in, enjoy the ride. I've got 10 minutes to spare every month. Whatever. I'm a sucker for coming of age stories, and I will never complain about entirely predictable cliches. The soul needs stories, and this is a story.

@Swift yup that's a sour ending but in my opinion the plot after the Mei's father first appearance the plot becomes .. Just not my taste.
I hope Koushin Koinu Ni Koibumi Wo won't be like Citrus.
By the way do you know where I can buy digital version of Yurihime monthly magazine with PayPal?
I want to buy it for Koushin Koinu Ni Koibumi ?
Kindle doesn't offer their service to my country so I am looking for alternative way ..

I don't agree with all the commotion, for me it's still good.
It may look like your average "misunderstanding" but it's not just that. While reading I was seeing how much Touko was making Yuu suffer without noting. Now she finally noticed and is thinking before acting. She is not trying to clear the misunderstanding because she still don't know what to do after, dealing with the consequences. After six months of playing with Yuu and demanding that Yuu don't love her back, now she wake up for the fact that she was... playing with the emotions of a stranger girl, with no cares in the world.
After Yuu having helped her so much, what can she do now for her?
It's fucked.

Yuu can't stand her feelings anymore, that's why she confess. But, after all she still doesn't understand the concept of love, yet she already know what heartbroken feels like.

In other hand, Touko is confused how to respond into Yuu's confession but she still want to have a relationship with her? Last panel said that she missed her. Well if she didn't, she won't think about what Yuu said to her this much. Eventhough perhaps the relationship will start over or totally change into 360 degree.

That sorry cause a lot of misunderstanding but the solution needs to be done on the next 2 chapters.

@Panino yeah, it's not just a "misunderstanding" trope, it's different. I think neither of them knows how to deal with these emotions, which reminds me of the name of the manga, "Bloom into you". It's not just Yuu blooming.

Smh you all are discussing cliches and crap when this is honestly just a story and you can drop it anytime, the readers' opinion comes above all else.

@Pegleg I viewed it more as she is no longer the only person who understands the real me. She isn't special because she is no longer the only one. I feel it has less to do with the fact that she loves her since at this point she has changed from how she was before. If anything now she doesn't know how to react to the fact that she is reciprocating her feelings due to the fact that her previous love was probably different to romantic love due to her circumstances. Anyhow sorry for the @ (2 months lol) I just wanted to share my opinion on this since its my first read through c:
