Just put her in a mental hospital and wash your hands of her, she clearly doesn't wanna do the therapy that would help her, and the target of her erotomania should in no way be the person trying to help her work through it. Even if you can't prove she's been trying to murder the hypotenuse yet and she is a family friend, reputation be damned get a restraining order cause of her unwanted attention and harassment. But as someone said in a different chapter, I do not know if China even have restraining orders

I think that was me mentioning the restraining order thing. I'm in a third country and we have something called restraining order here but it's completely, utterly useless.
Anyway, I completely agree with you, @Umbrecola! Mei Rou should be in a mental institute.
I'm looking forward to the showdown - is what I want to say but I'm worried about the gun. I was half expecting Mei Rou to show up right now, running after Rui and then try to shot Xia Ning and Rui getting in the way - and then Mei Rou blaming Xia Ning for it. I still have this uncomfortable feeling about all this. I'm a bit worried.

@Pocky8 Also since she is so unwell she should have been discharged from the military a long time ago and not allowed a gun since she has a known history of violence. The Military doesn't generally put up with erratic behavior like that, my ex-friend's brother was discharged over erratic behavior from a Thyroid imbalance

@Umbrecola True. Even if it's a different country, it should have some rules like that. I guess she looked normal to others? She can fake it, we know that. Also, while her behaviour was jealous when she first appeared it looked fairly normal. We only realized how off she was later. What I'm trying to say, if you're not exposed to her for a prolonged time, you might not notice. So the military might've not noticed.
Also, that brother of Rui... He is also partly to blame for all this. He makes such a big mess, then tosses it to Rui. WTH
