Thank you for the update! I get why she loves (platonically? Not sure) Miru so much, but I'm really rooting for Jamalta. There's too much muddy master/slave in her relationship with Miru. This time apart could help her and Miru both evolve into a more healthy interaction in the future though... So I wouldn't hate that outcome if they're both a little different.
I wish there were a little more political exposition in this, but the character development is great so I'm satisfied. I feel like I'd understand more politics if I were more familiar with the details of the original story.
