I get that the author is trying to imply that Nagi has had some very bad experiences in the past, possibly child abuse?, but he is so damn annoying! It's non of his business if the boy wants to sing in secret. It's even more frustrating because I know in the end the author will justify all this annoyingness with an "aren't you glad you could show how you really are, wasn't I right to force you to sing in public, etc"
