They can't all have an incredibly dark past, so a slightly lighter problem works perfectly. Not to mention Dai-chan has been the most cooperative from the very beginning, so it makes sense he isn't completely broken.

I like the characters, but it feels like the manga's lacking something right now. Idk. Some kind of pressing concern? A larger overarching plot?

Still looking forward to the next chapters though.

I really like this series. I really do. but it feels like its missing what ReLife has. It's missing the hook and the bigger problem of the plot that ReLife executed perfectly (the ReLife pill as the hook and the memories as the bigger problem). Still, i'ts still pretty interesting and I'm happy that all of the characters doesn't have so much of a dark past.

This is more enjoyable if you just stop comparing it to ReLife. ReLife is it's own thing, and it's over. Blue Hearts is a new story, with new characters. We're still early in the story. I'm not expecting anything crazy to happen until they solve everyone's individual problems (think Little Busters! if you've played/watched it). Maybe Nagi's will be the crazy thing (considering his marks and scars), or maybe it'll be something else, just have to wait and see.

And to be honest, I'm glad this is on the lighter side since the other arcs were super heavy, one dealing with rape -> attempt suicide and the other with bullying/suicide AND the motive being murder for self-defense. Yeah even though there's still drama and problems now, it's definitely lighter than the other two and it's realistic and relateable. I for one relate to it.
