The chapter aside, the only point you lost against the other scanlation team is not making it visually clear the world-stars were talking in English. Most manga use box brackets or italics, it's a small but nice touch.

@Celiohogane In the world of sports you age differently. Most players retire at 30 to 35 due to the rigors, so 30 is an 'old' player who's likely soon to retire.

@DeOneChester Competent huh? They are already good enough but these guys are the top of their class and they also improved a ton to score 1vs1 against the goalkeepers. So they are just so good in these situations.

@DeOneChester Jokes aside, I do think you're def right. Highly likely to become a focus at some point in the future. Right now, I believe the programme is supposed to be for developing and nurturing the 'ego' of the potential strikers. Ego is honestly a big part of motivation and being an athelete, to become the best you must believe you're the best! Quite interesting to see this approach to a sports manga, usually it's all friendship and training harder to improve, whereas here it's almost a psychological battle!
