I think it's always been clear it's a work, you just need to be super strong, tough, and skilled to make it work...and everyone involved is also such a super-freak they can do that shit even outside of the ring.

I absolutely love how Shishido flipped the situation on its head. She saw one of her wrestlers go on a drug-fueled rampage and instead of making a big scene that would break the immersion of the fans, she spun it into a script. Dealing with the problem while keeping the situation completely under control before checking up on her employee who went on that rampage. A real professional
