We all know that it is not going to happen. Authors lack the skill to go with a story beyond the first 10 chapters without introducing drama with other people. Just the words "We aren't in a relationship" are a flag for the chapter where there's another woman/man interested in one of the MCs, so the other can sulk and depress themselves in a corner.

Huh, reminds me a bit of Pure .01mm. A "will they get together?" romance where they're already fucking, but can't talk about their feelings. It's a little annoying, but it is a valid erotica genre. That said I wonder if the only direction this can go is more slice of life moments around the sex. They can introduce more side characters, they can take their pornography career in other directions (threesome/aka Collab?). They can get recognized. Eh, so long as it's used to develop the mains and their arc.

This author doesn't really care about the whole "first girl is the default winner/main lover". In his previous works we had a harem ending where MC's sister is the "main wife" so to speak instead of the main girl(Masou Gakuen HxH) and an ending where MC gets together with his boss, who is around 6 years older than him instead of getting together with the main heroine (Ecstas Online).
