Oh, what a bummer! I really liked almost everyone, and there was clearly a longer story planned. At least the two mains got together, they were great.

While it was harshly cut by the axe, I'm glad I read it. This is one of those series in which the chemistry of the main leads carried everything else. They are so lovely together that even the terribly rushed ending feels good -- so long as the couple have their happy ending.
